Could you maybe answer the question I asked in the post

That would be a big help.

No one reads the Mod Workshop! I asked the same question here an hour ago and haven't received a reply which is why I asked in the other forum

you must locate your steam directory , in XP that's C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\empire total war\data\campaigns.
on vista I don't know, but try looking in the mod section since most of them tell the path for installation (darth mod I think).

    Hope someone see's this...
I feel like an idiot, but I'll ask anyway.

I have a system that meets the requirements, I load the PC DVD ETW into my DVD-RW drive and I have auto play set up. The game does prompt to "install".... I go to my computer and double click my DVD icon as well as right clicking to explore.... It will just not read the DVD? This is my second disc. I returned the first to the store...

WTH am I doing wrong? Do I need a new DVD drive????? Is there something I am missing... So dispointed, the wife is out, bought the game, planned on staying up till 2:00 am....

You should try with another DVD (game or whatever) to see if that work.
Because some games could be hard to launch due to protections, but the point is that ETW dvd didn't have any (steam do it), so probably your drive is broken.
But if you're really stuck, download steam and register your ETW serial, it will download the game for you (quite long through 15 Go...).

Thanks, my drive is able to load other games, but they are CD's, not DVD's ... Also I just noticed that my processor is 2.14GHz, not 2.4 as the box shows... Guess this will be a problem too?
My computer is only 2-1/2 years old...shocked that this game has laready made my system obsolete... FI indeed it can't run on 2.14...

I'll try downlaoding through the Stem (That is new to me...) I just want to play the game as I love the series...

Are you sure it's a dvd drive and not just a cd drive? Can yoyu play other dvds?

I have burnt dvd's to play on my dvd player using Pinnacle software, so I just assumed the game would work. But no, I have never played another dvd game on the system. In my Computer folder it reads DVD-RW (E) Drive

Interesting though...I just put a DVD movie in and it will NOT play...

Before I go through the hassell of replacing my driver or downloading through Stem (Still have to figure that one out), does anyone think that my lower Processer (2.13GHz) will make the game unplayable? Hard to imagine that my 2-1/2 year old computer is obsolete...
