Will copy my post from another thread here in case someone else finds it useful.
I have found out a little something about this...dont know if it will be any help or not.
Anyway,
If you look in patch_en.pack , under text > localisation.loc , you will see all the descriptions for the tooltips (amongst other things) , the character ones are prefixed with character_trait_levels ....
What I have done is removed all the descriptions, which means that now in my games when I put my cursor over a trait, I get the statistics affected info and thats it. It doesnt cycle onto the descriptions because there arent any. Not as interesting, but at least I dont sit waiting for the text to cycle round to see what the trait does.
Now...I guess maybe taking all the text for each trait and making it so that its only one entry might perhaps make all the descriptions be on only 1 window? So you would have the statistics and then 1 description window rather than a few?
For instance there is piety1 , piety2, piety3 , each of which have 1 sentence in, which forms the total descriptive cycle. So maybe taking the text from piety2 and 3, putting them in piety1 and deleting piety2 and 3, would keep it down to just 1 window. No idea though as I havent tried it, I am just happy to have just the stats affected come up and nothing else.
