Unable to Install MeTW 2

Here's the scenario, I recently bought the expansion for the game only it was the gold edition. I try to install the game, yet to no avail. I get to idea to uninstall MeTW 2 then install the gold edition. I go to uninstall the game yet it wont let me, so I go into my program files and just delete the whole Sega folder out right. I then install the gold edition but it just installs the Kingdoms expansion. I then go back and realize that I forgot to uninstall the patch for MeTW 2, however since I already deleted the game I just deleted the patch. Now I try to install the original game but the files are deleted and the launcher wont let me uninstall the game. Im trapped in a circle and cant break free.

Since you already deleted the Sega folder, do you use Vista? If so did you deleta the Sega folder in the virtual store?

You'll also need to uninstall the Kingdsoms campaigns you just installed or at least delete the Sega folder, again.

After that, run a registry cleaner to get all traces off your harddrive. Reboot to get it out of memory. Now, try to install Gold.

Ok. Unistall everything. Everything with M2TW/SEGA on it must be encircled and destroyed (do this by deleting them from your pc). Not one file must be allowed to escape. If you let any escape then you may have them return and fight you in Stalingrad. Delete any folders. Then do a system search and delete. Then type REGEDIT into your search function and find the entries for SEGA/M2TW. Delete them. Then do a defrag. Then reinstall.
