Possible, easy after battle, CTD Solution?

I think I have found an EASY solution!

Ok, I have been having continous CTDs after battles. It goes like this:

1. battle finishes. Return to Campaign Screen.
2. Little box pops up saying victory (or defeat) showing troop summary.
3. After I click `tick`, game CTDs.

Right?

Ok. I think i`ve found a solution preventing this type of CTD. It`s very simple.

Simply wait on the box pop-up for 5 - 10 seconds BEFORE ticking away the box. then the CTD does not happen. I`ve done this 4 times now and no CTDs.

I`m not sure, but what I think is happening is the game is processing stuff from the last battle when the pop-up box is on. When you tick it away too soon it then starts processing something else at the same time which appears to cause the crash.


It may not work for you all, but worth a try and is at least not as convoluted as going into files and messing around...





This has already worked for one person. It might work for you.

Can someone inform the official CA Total war forum as it may help them fix their mess. I cannot go there cos they don`t like me for being too vocal.

Mine crashes before I click anything, it happens almost immediately after displaying the battle casualties.
