    Greek Aspidophoroi
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
The main weapon of the Aspidophoroi is the javelin -- but this is not a skirmisher unit. They are heavy cavalry, armed with javelins for an added punch. They also carry a kopis sword for close combat, at which they excelled. The kopis was close to 36 inches (91.44 cm) long and ideally suited for downward slashes from horseback. The name comes from the Greek verb “Kopto” meaning “to cut.” They are protected by linothorax body armour, (which was anywhere from 8 to as many as 20 layers of linen (flax) glued together) a phrygiboeotian helmet and a large shield (aspis - from which their name is derived). These riders have great skill, an excellent ranged attack, and a powerful charge. They are a particularly devastating evolution of the Macedonian heavy cavalry, and spell death to any light cavalry or skirmisher they close with.

    Athenian Epilektoi WIP
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
The Athenian Epilektoi are first mentioned in 349 BC. at Tamynae. After the defeat at Chaironeia by Philip of Macedon in 338 BC. all citizens were to be trained as hoplites and were given a shield by the state. These changes were known as the Reforms of Lycurgus (not be confused with the quasi-mythological Spartan lawgiver of the same name)after the Athenian magistrate who implemented them. The shield bears the letter "alpha" for Athens. This blazon would be used by the Epilektoi (sons of either local aristocracy (landed gentry) or of merchants) as well as the state maintained shields issued out to a "Levy" in times of war. The shield or aspis had gone through a radical change, evolving from the 32-38 inches (81.2-96.5 cm) in diameter and weighing about 18 pounds(8.16 Kilograms), with bronze facing to the new 24-30 inches (60.9-76.2 cm) and weighing about 12 pounds(5.44 Kilograms).
A phrygian helmet (So named because the shape resembled the phrygian bonnet) with a bearded face mask was used along side the muscle-cuirasses and bronze greaves.
The red tunic had been the uniform of the mercenary dating back to Xenophan's day.

So what info do you want? I would love to add how many javelins (8) they carry and at what range they could throw them (55). I know the 55 is the game term but we could come up with a conversion from real world and game. Plus i would add a small section on how to best use them. or would you like more historical info on them.

Excellent - some minor edits worth making.....

The main weapon of the Aspidophoroi is the javelin -- but this is not a skirmisher unit. They are heavy cavalry, armed with javelins for an added punch. They also carry a kopis sword for close combat, at which they excelled. The kopis was close to 3 ft (91.44 cm) long and ideally suited for downward slashes from horseback. Any chance you can add a little more?
