A quiet plea for some honest answers
Great game and congratulations to the developers - the overall concept in my opinion has been very well applied.
There are obviously some problems however and for these, as a staunch supporter of the Total War series from Shogun to Empire I believe I should be entitled to some plain simple answers from the developers.
Re the game itself - Are we stuck with steam - it does seem a weird decision - I dont know any game where the customers have found steam to be helpful or even useful, sure the concept may have some merit but it doesnt work and it plainly turns people off. This is the first game I've purchased with steam and I must say in future, should a game have steam I will not purchase, end of story
Having made a bad marketing decision will the developers admit such and try to provide a work around or are we stuck with this.
Secondly can we have some usegful coments re patching ie a release date and some idea what will be patched - again I seem to get lots of steam updates but havnt heard much from the developers re a useful patch.
There are some real problems with game play particularly further into the game when player and non player assets start growing the game seems to grind to a halt and thats not including the endless crashes or freezes one encounters
So please forum managers and development team - instead of making excuses for steam or pleading for patience and understanding, can you just tell us what you intend to do to fix this otherwise fantastic game
