New Patch broke my game,can i re-install?

The new patch broke my game,I wasn't having any sound problems & now i do !,really bad ones.Seeing i can't roll it back,can i just reinstall the game? will i lose my campaign?

You can always save your game saves into a different folder - after the install you can copy them back. As you've not posted your OS I can't tell you how to do that. There are plenty of topics that cover this - so a search will reveal them.

I deleted my local content last night (which removes the game) and re-installed from the discs. The patches were applied and the game has been running well (after I did the 'insufficient memory' fix).
