No UI in Campaign Map

Hello,

First time poster here, and also a first time user of SS, I downloaded all the SS files (Part 1 of 2,Part 2 of 2 and 6.1 Patch) from Filefront.

Installed them all then started playing!

However when I enter the campaign the UI that was supposed to be at the bottom of the map (area where it shows my army stacks, florins, build button, etc.) is completely blacked out, it was just a big black area from left to right.

I can still double click on the buildings to build, but when I press "B" it crashes to deskstop, I searched around various FAQs and the first few pages of the bug forums and couldn't find a solution.

Also I was playing as France in the early era campaign.

UPDATE: I patched SS to 6.2 and this has been fixed!

Try installing them all again, as the installer can miss things

I had the same problem on a uninstall to reinstall so i could go back to SSmod 6.1.UI files were all messed up.I found that 2 files were missing on reinstall and no matter how many times i reinstalled it would not replace the 2 missing files.
So i copied and pasted the UI files from Broken Cresent to SSmod and everything was fixed.I also noticed that after the SSmod 6.2RC4 uninstall that the UI files were also missing in the main Medieval II data folder.I copied over to there also...................................I can only play SSmod RC4 to a certain point and then it just crashes continuely.Thats why i went back to SSmod 6.1.
