Default What happened to my revolution?

Playing as Sweden in H/N, I decided to force a revolution as I wasn't too happy with staying as an absolute monarchy.

So I side with the rebels and easily defeat the loyalists. I then get a message saying "Revolution Succeeds!" but then the movie plays for "Revolution Defeated". And I discover that the absolute monarch is still there! Anyone else seen this or know how to fix it?

That does look like a bug to me.

Only suggest i can offer is beating the loyalist a 2nd time from a save and see if it repeats.

Maybe your king is immortal and has super powers, with which he defeated the entire revolution just as their leaders were saying "we won!" (What do you put in those meatballs you feed him!?!)

Or maybe it is just a bug.

I got that video when going back from a Republic to a Constitutional Monarchy, playing as Sweden. Must be a bug. It's supposed to show that you've performed a successful counter-revolution and re-instituted the monarchy.

The video itself is hilarious though, EXACTLY how I wanted to kill the filthy republicans and re-institute the monarchy.

Bugger I was just getting into that as well. I started it pre-patch which probably led to the bug. Will have to start again now!
