Alright, I'm using Fraps to take screenshots in game. But when I look to put them in my posts for my AAR, it assumes I'm taking a picture from the internet. How do I post photos from my files on the forums?

"To admit defeat, is to commit a heresy against the Emperor." - Imperial Proverb.
"Well... that was unexpected." - Last words of Chaos Lord Ulakar the Undefeatable.
Host them on imageshack or something like that, and put the URL to the image between some tags, like so..

photobucket is the best, dont use imageshack
It's too bad DeviantArt won't let you hotlink to other sites the way photobucket and imageshack do.
And on that note, (I've already asked this question but didn't get a response) How do I take ingame screenshots? Where are they saved? I really don't want to start a thread asking this question.

Dunno what ETW own screenshot key are.
Tho i think i read somewhere something about F5 doing something something!
Otherwise, give fraps a try: www.fraps.com.
Pick one that doesnt give every person who clicks on your pics "The Dumb Test" popup.

I used to use Photobucket before I realized that all my pictures were being trimmed to 1024 768.
You shouldn't reach your upload limit if you first save your pictures in JPG format. And for most purposes upload them at the smaller sizes.
I tried pressing printscreen once, expecting a dialog or text messege to pop up, telling me a screenshot had been saved, but nothing happened.
I've seen a screenshot folder listed in the main empire_script.txt file, but when i go to the directory it mentions, I don't see a screenshot folder. (I checked appdata too)
I find it really suprising (and really poor judgement) for CA not to include a hotkey function for screenshots. EVERY other game I've played has a hotkey tied to screenshots.
Guess I'll have to try fraps, although I've not used it before.

Nothing wrong with Fraps except that the free version is limited to 30 sec videos and saves screenshots in bmp (very large files) format.
You don't get any msg's with print screen.i don't think. After you have pressed "printscreen" open paint & hit paste.Upload to imageshack and your go.
Also try this for screen captures, recording with commentary etc etc,its really easy to use (toggle on,toggle off)and best of all free!http://camstudio.org/
I have seen lost of tuts done with this.

Download Fraps and use it for in game screenshots.
Register an account on Photobucket.com. Upload them there.
As you can see you can choose what Photobucket can do to the file once uploaded.
Also always upload in JPEG format, as its the smallest, but with same quality.
I make sigs for my clan and I literally have hundreds to maybe a thousand photos in my one account and I don't believe I'm close to 25% of the most I'm allowed to have.
