Is there a way to avoid the video advertisement playing at the launching of the game ?

Starting directly on the menu ....

Sorry ; I should have specify within changing something in the preferences.empire_script.txt
in C:\Documents and Settings\......\Application Data\The Creative Assembly\Empire\scripts
or
in the shortcut ? perhaps ?

I mean , I guess there was something smarter then pushing a button

like in MTTW or RTTW in the preference.cfg movie=false

Move movies.pack in your Empire/data folder to somewer else. Too bad you won't see any ingame movies anymore like duels etc...
