Crash when clicking on Acre

I want to play as Kingdom of Jerusalem on Late Campaign(1200AD) but when I click on Acre the game crashes to desktop

It crashed with the 6.2 submod compilation, so I installed 6.1 and the submods below and it still does it.

Submods installed:
Real Recruitment
Total Combat
Battle for the Baltic
Basileia ton Romaion
Crimson Tide 4(No Dirt)
Lusted's Battle AI + Campaign AI
(I think thats all of them)

You cant install Battle for the Baltic and Basiliea ton Romaion at the same time. Only the latest RR/RC release has both of these rosters in them.

But it still does it with only one of them installed. And it did with the 6.2 submod compilation.

can you start from scratch re-install SS6.0 (pts 1+2), SS6.1 and 6.2 patch RC4

and try and replicate the problem please?

(I've fought a battle at Acre and not had a problem so suspect the problem may be with your installation.)

I reinstalled it all, and it still does it. I'm going to download the installers again maybe there is something wrong with them.

also I have noticed in my byzantine campaign I can't play battles on certain cities, such as Arta and Sinop. It goes onto loading screen then crashes.

Yes there appears to be a problem with byzantine walls.

DO a search for "byzantine walls" and wolfslayer and you should find the relevant thread.

that's annoying!

from memory it seems the problem is caused by the prog not loading the Byzantine walls quickly enough or not even finding them.

You may find it works better if you defrag your hard drive, and some people suggest unpacking the main m2tw/kingdoms files (but others disagree.)
