I've never had the colonies revolt unless I made them revolt, ie built a ton of schools, destroyed happiness buildings, raised taxes, etc.

it all depends on how you treat them. nothing is scripted except for a few invasion points (sweden will almost ALWAYS take christiania in norway)

no its becus they gert realy smart. so they get smart enoug realize how bad things is. they revolt.
