Trade Ship Question

To my knowledge there are three types of trade ships, Fluyte, Galleon, And Indiaman. Do the amounts of goods or trade amounts vary based on which ship you employ in the trade zones? Because the upkeep for the Galleon for example, quadrupled the upkeep for the Indiaman. Thanks.

The only difference is firepower, Galleons and Fluyts double up as very good warships in the early game, thats why their upkeep is higher.

For only trading the Indiaman is the best choice because of it's low upkeep.
