I have played I think 5 campaigns, mostly as Rohan or RK, but one as Adunabar, and bar none, Rhun seems to blitz over everything. The also field something like 30+ nearly full-full stacks by the time they start attacking rohan, why is this?

Rhun has the second most numerous armies (bar Harad) and virtually no enemies at game start, as it faces only rebels. The next thing Rhun meets is Adunabar, that is already in a bloody fight with Rk, and therefore it is not as much of a threat, same as Harad, that also faces RK. Generally, Rhun is off to an easy start, because everybody else is busy fighting, and they have lots of time and space to build up.
Not to sound pretentious, but isn't that a problem as far as balancing goes?
If we wanted to have all factions equally strong, yes, but then again it was our intention to have Rhun be very expansionist.
Not to say that balance is perfect in FATW. It can and will be better in the next release, we have accumulated some pretty useful experience from VI2 that we intend to apply to FATW as well.
Well I never have a problem with Rhûn, but playing on H/H or Bullroaring/Bullroaring as RK, after I capture Emyn Arnen and Minas Ithil the damned Southrons come creeping up in tons of full stacks towards the crossings at Osgiliath. That and the constant seawar with them hinders me from crushing Anudabar....
How about making rebels stronger? Also make southrons face more rebels, they could start with most harad in rebellion.
I'm happy to hear that
I gotta say that I love the mod, even though the fact that it start out little to early in the Fourth Age, Aragorn's desendants ruled over a properous kingdom for a long time
But your unit designs, creativity and overall the abilty to create a outstanding mod make are breathtaking!
How about a "small" Kingdom of Dale to give Rhun a rival?
Hello,
New to the forum here, downloaded your mod yesterday and started an RK campaign...you guys have done a fantastic job!
I also applaud your adding Dale to the next version's map, I was a little disappointed that some of Northern parts of Middle Earth were not added, but this is good news indeed.
I guess I will be trying out a campaign as Rhun after I lose as the RK....

HardSun on XBoxLive - Destiny and other stuff
playing with the RK is very difficult, those southrons are a real pain in the ass, almost finished Adunabar, but every other faction is against me, even the Rohirrim that onced saved us in desperate times, have allied themselves with the most hated Dunlandings and attacked me, where is king theoden of once, every faction are allied against me now.
still i like it that way, great job guys this mod is awesome.

Because i voiced 'em. If it where up to me i would make all the other factions "auto-lose" on the first turn.
Insane. Maybe that why they are such a pain in the ***

I agree that the mod is great but has balance problems also, Rohan makes a poor ally for the RK and everybody else is against it, its just too many fronts at the same time, its very difficult to launch meaningful offensives as too busy to defend everywhere.
