New patch loses saves

Anyone else get the problem after this new patch where all saves are now lost!! wtf, this is ridiculous! plus even more ctd's and freezes. Anyone know how to fix this?

The continue campaign button works but all my saves in 'load' are gone. Even in game they don't appear when i save.

Finally found the answer and it's easy to solve the no saves problem. All you have to do is go into c drive and paste this C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR ACCOUNT NAME\Application Data\The Creative Assembly\Empire\save_games
Just change YOUR ACCOUNT NAME for whatever your steam account is called.
Now you just have to delete the autosave file at the top and hey presto it works.

I am using XP. I do not find the folder...

C:Users/yourname/AppData/Roaming/The Creative Assembly/Empire/save_games

To see the AppData folder, when in yourname go to tools>folder options>view Go down to where it says hidden files and folders and click show.
