Default Will my new laptop cope.

I have always wanted to purchase Medieval II Total War, having already played the original, plus Rome Total War, however I was advised in the past that my old PC probably wouldn't cope with the specs of MTWII. I have now got a new laptop from work which has the following specs:
Intel Core 2 duo 1.66 ghz
    150 gb Hard drive
    1.92 gb ram
Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family.

I am hoping that the response is positive so I can go and get it as a treat to myself.

    No.
Cpu is underpowered, not enough ram, video chipset won't play it even on minimum.

Does the game need more than 2 gb of ram then?

I get a solid framerate with a 1.83ghz intel core 2 duo and 3gb of RAM, and this is with almost all settings on high. Can't say anything for his video card though.

His cpu and memory are less than yours and Intel's video chipset sharing ram won't work. That chipset was a piece of garbage on a desktop and I had a far better cpu and 3gigs of memory.

My advice, with your laptop, don't waste your time or money.
