I cant load the game, so I'm trying to uninstall and reinstall but it just wont let me, when i click delete it does nothing
any help?

Dele your empire folder in steam/steamApps/common. Now you should be able to reinstall it.

its OK im reinstalling as we speak, steam is so fiddly i just wanted to play some multilayer battles while i was off college ill is that too much to ask, the game better start working now.
Will i have to download patches again?

Yep . though not sure if you have to install all of em, maybe just the latest.

I understand it is a little late to ask now, but did you have an Mod applied?

To be able to play your saves, you need to start a new GC save it and then load an old one.
This as worked for many in the forum.
