First of all, ridicule me if you want, I read Al Jazeera (OH HO HO) and I find that reliable. I amn't going to believe some people and nothing coming out of the IDF's mouths in my opinion is true. If it was so true how come they blew up a UN truck? How come journalists were not allowed into Gaza?

Now that the whole situation is over, they are allowing people to report. In my opinion grade A BS.

I will stay on my side of the balance here and you continue with yours.

And trusting Al-Jazeera is just ... LOL? You know, I get my Second World War education from the Wochenschau and the Völkischer Beobachter .

The point is that the soldiers are now proven to not even have been on the scenes of the reported atrocities. But as I said its just to good news for people with an agenda to miss out the chance.

BTW since the media (or better palestinian cameramen working for western media) are very good in doing Pallywood production I would have kept them out to. Its common sense, not a conspiracy.

Ok yeah, I read wrong. It seems the previous owner (who was mayor of Jerusalem) died along time ago. Read and made the connection, should have looked further. No doubt it is heavily subsidized no?

Anyhow, I would consider a foreign newspaper, particularly Al Jazeera English, to present a far more obejetive picture in light of the circumstances. In example, the Jpost is the only newspaper in the world that one more than one occassion bares the plane headline - IDF the most moral army in the world.

There is even a section dedicated to Iran in the weekly additions, eloquently titled "The Iranian Threat". Although perhaps Ahmadinejad's behaviour arguably warrants such a section.

It isnt an argument that I will regulalry take, most newspapers are awful. But in light of the conext, it is my opinion some are far more unreliable and spew a far more of bs than others. That of which the Jpost regularly does.

It is now proven that one of the soldiers who resorted to those claims was not even in Gaza. Who needs an independence source to prove that? About Al-Jazeera: It is founded by Arab Sheikhs not known for their democratic outlook and tends to publish material given to them by Al Quaeda with delight. Also you can see their orientation by their frequent use of the word Shahid for a suicide bomber. A station catering to the muslim masses.

I'll wait for some more credible proof before deciding. None of the sources are viable. There's been instances like this of unreported civilian abuse or even killing before even perpetrated by Americans. I find it likely, but not sure.

I agree, these sources aren't credible enough; we need an outside source assessment but most of those are ignored anyway.

What outside assessment do you need of the soldiers who orginially reported the 'crimes they have witnessed' admited it is all hearsay and rumors, if they have admitted it themselves?
