Episode 3 Ending Bug

Okay, so I got all the way to the end of Episode 3 in the Road to Independence campaign. This is the one where you have to win America's freedom during the Revolutionary War. So I had all objectives completed, and I held all needed regions except for one. The final objective was to hold all of these regions until 1825, but it was 1813. So I easily took the final needed region. But here's the thing: it took me straight to the ending movie. After that, it showed me two messages, one saying Campaign complete, and the other saying I needed to hold these regions until the allotted time has been completed. However, as soon as I click on this second message, it takes me back to the main menu. What the heck? Clearly I had not held all of the regions until 1825, so why did it take me back to the main menu. I've tried it multiple times, and it does the same thing each time. Can someone help?
