Um, what happened to my game?

I have been enjoying ETW as much as possible since release, with few bugs. I started a campaign as Saxony, the most intense TW campaign I have ever played. I try to get on today to kick Poland out of Bohemia, but what is this? ETW has encountered an error when I tried to start the game? Surely it must be a one time thing. Again and again, whenever I click the ETW icon it tells me it has an error and needs to shut down. Anyone know how to fix this? I really want my Saxony fix!

new patch might not be compatilbe with your old save

Its not the save, its the whole damn game. It won't even launch! It just gives me an error. Reinstalling now. Lets hope this works.

I'm having the same problem.. I'm crashing on the initial credit screen. And I'm playing a major faction, Maratha, so it shouldn't be a save issue..
