Questions on sewers and food production
There have been times where I have the option to build sewers in cities that already have them - is this a bug, or is it an option to build additional sewers with additional benefits?
Also, in vanilla RTW I remember I had a rule never to build more than the first level of farms, land clearance, because to do so would result in problems down the road. However, it seems that food production is less in XGM, or something else is causing my cities to grow at a slower rate than vanilla. What level of farms should I build up to in XGM?

Re: Questions on sewers and food production
I usually build them to the max. City growth is slower in XGM, so huge cities are much rarer then in vanilla. Level 3 (or 4) farms give major tax benefits, so there isn't much of a reason to build any less.

For me, farms aren't a priority, but they eventually get built to the max level in most provinces that can build them. Growth is slower in XGM, so you won't run in to the huge overpopulation problems you would have in vanilla.

I didn't know that but it's pretty evident. I don't have cities turning red every other turn because of overpopulation. A welcome change.
