Default Agents and Mechanics, "my kingdom for a manual!"

As many of the mechanics are not explained and those of us with Steam didn't get a manual, what do you think you know?

1.) I know, that after completing a mission, if your Rake has movement points left, getting him out of the city/town that the mission was completed in seems to lessen the probability of his death.

2.) Gentlemen seem to gain research traits based on the research type completed and if they are in the school when it is completed.

There are a two conjectures I have been able to deduce. Any from you guys?

Specifically, is there a difference between placing a priest in a territory or in the city?

How does a Gentleman get traits from visiting foreign lands? The tool tip suggests that he is able to.

Frankly, if it is agent-related, and you think its true... post it here, so we can find out.

EDIT: If this should be moved to Gameplay and I be publically shamed for creating it in the wrong section, I apologize and please do so.

Both of those are true (to my experience), and make sense if you think about it. I believe when assassinating someone in a city, its factoring the kill percent into the infiltration percent, so if you leave your rake in the city he can still be caught and killed because he is prerequisitely infiltrating the settlement. That makes sense to me.

Both are very true in my experience.

anyway, as far as i know: keeping a rake in the same city/region for some turns give him beneficial traits like "knows the territory" etc, which applies only to rake mission in that specific region.

gentlemen gets beneficial traits when winning duels, keeping them forever in the university may turn out some bad traits (like getting fat, addiction to alcohol etc.).
Same things applies to admirals and generals.

edit: as far as i know there is no difference between leaving a priest in the open or in a city. Maybe he has less chance to get killed in a city, but i have no proofs to sustain this theory ...
