AoC's current situation ?

Since there're two threads about Warhammer online and World of Warcraft
it would be interesting to know how the things are with AoC ?
I've heard they released great patch 1.04 and some of their players are coming back ,but it would be good to hear an opinion of a person who played that .

Dunno, I got one copy,they sell them cheap now,never played that before;wonder can I get those 30 days free without paying for next month after free time .In WoW they force you to pay for next month after your free 30 days, included with game copy.
Or do they allow you to have your first free-month and let you to decide to go on or not ,as they do in WAR ?

You're not forced to pay for the next month in WoW.

You can not use your 30 days free in WoW without entering subscription plan.Or it was in 2008.

You simply terminate the subscription before 30 days are over.

Anywhere what about the game itself?Are they gonna go on or they can go over edge ,like Tabula,
I mean maybe its hi time to give it a go when they are still here.

thats still a bit retarded if they automatically start taking payments after the 30days rather than just cancelling and asking if u want to continue playing ?

Anywhere,I've tried the game and I can say that it is the most awesome
fantasy game .... that is before you leave Tortage .
I don't know much farther since my char is 17 ,but since game costed me
only 10 euros in the shop it was worth trying.

Hmm, there seems to be some new interest in AoC around the interwebz. I'm tempted to try again, since besides the levelgap in content I actually really liked the fundamentals of the game.

Strangely enough it also ran better on my system than warhammer (which is becoming quite a drag tbh)

A bunch of my friends(Some of who played WOW and some who have never played any MMO's) have really gotten into the game(AOC) and are having a blast. I am not interested in playing any MMO's but I aways like to hear what happens in there game.It sounds like it has gotten better from when it 1st came out.There in a roleplaying PVP server( Cimmeria )and have just started getting a small guild/town or something like that together.

This bloody pvp servers are hardest thing ever you instantly attacked as soon as you try to leave capitols and ofc hi lvls and bands leave you no chance to win.Still I am working on that thing-leveling solo on rvr server
after 19 lvl.
