As it says on the tin really. Does anyone know for sure if the Kalmar Union event triggers in KGCM?

Hi IB, the Kalmar union event is currently not present in KGCM. I simply could not add anymore factions into the GC. However it would be as easy for me to add the Kalmar union event as it was to add the Hanseatic league event. Would it be worth it do you think? if Denmark cannot change into the Kalmar Union as a faction? I could just make it so that the event announces the following:
Instead of turning into a new faction maybe some other bonuses? Please leave me your thoughts. The people of Norway have united with their Danish neighbours under one banner and ruler, to form what is being called the Kalmar Union. Nowadays to raise a fist at one is to raise a fist to all in the Union.
Cheers
Bonuses you say...
how bout instant + in standings from neighboring Catholics?
I think a simple banner/faction name change would do, units would be a bit harder.
I agree with Zero. Banner and name changes will still provide the impression of a new faction. I suppose changing the battlefield banners and unit textures is too much to do.
Anyway it's not a big deal to me. I just wanted to know if I would get the event. My single-player campaign is very close to achieving total control of the baltic. I know you are not making any more changes to the mod Dave.
Actually it would be very easy to script Gotland Footmen and Sami Axemen to be only available for recruitment for Denmark after the Kalmar event. Changing a faction name and banner mid game is not possible without changing the faction entirely I think.
Dave
what other "special" events like this are there in the Kingdoms expansion?
I never really bothered to play every faction all the way in each and every campaign
Well there is the "power center" concept in crusades which spawns reinforcement armies after your faction's "power center" is lost. I think they are Constantinople, Cairo, Jerusalem, Antioch, and Baghdad. The reinforcements come in waves every few turns until the city is recaptured, or until they wear off (after 5 reinforcement spawnings)
I forgot the Lithuania conversion event.
So this is the list:
-Baron's Alliance
-Kalmar Union
-Lithuania conversion to christendom
Btw, if anyone is trying to get the Kalmar union in the game, it takes up a faction slot, so don't bother unless you want to remove dave's hard work on adding the other factions.
