Jins, fat stacks of infantry, line breaking heavy cavalry

and horse archers. They just beat the hack outta the Songs in a lot of battles basically by trashing their cavalry from the flank before going for the infantry

Song Dynasty, they are the most technologically advanced (gunpowder, cannons, etc.)

I'd prefer the Khmer because it is a very mystical (and also magical) faction.
It would be like playing with Atlantis faction

(sort of).
Afterwards i would like to play with Jin dynasty (although i am a heavy china fan and since Song china is the worst military power from al of the dynasty's).

Maybe should try Mongols also

What's the point of playing Japan in spite of all the proclamations of superiority? Besides from being nuked later on, in couple of decades it will suffer significant population aging and decline; no mating going on . Soon whoever survives in Japan later this 21 century will just be senior citizens moving to Florida in US as retirees. How depressing, discouraging and disheartening as a faction
