Default Any solution to CTDs when attacked by/declaring war on Huron?

Thread title, basically. I've searched and come up blank, other than other people have this issue. Any ideas?

If you got your game from Steam I think you may have received a free download of either RTW or M2TW.

If that is the case I suggest that you install that and then install some of the excellent mods that can be found for both games on this forum. I'd suggest playing the 'vanilla' game first so you can see how various mods have improved the game.

Also, I'd wait for some decent mods to be released for ETW....

If you didn't get a free download both games will be available cheaply either in bargain buckets or off the internet.

I don't suppose you've been playing as Great Britain when this calamity occured? If so, I also had this destroy my GB campaign.

    Back to Prussia.

    Yep, I'm the British. =(

I take it it happens to EVERY British campaign that wars with the Huron?

Btw I think I have a workaround...I'm going to offer them jewellery and ally with them, and then see if they still attack next turn. Or I guess I could give them Rupert's Land, which I think is what the AI is after.
