Playable Nations

So how many nations can you actually play as in this game?

Just the ones they give you right off the bat or can you ever play as the "Minor Nations"?

I'd really love to play as one of those

11 off the top, There are mods allowing you to play the other factions but it has some issues...I can get you the link if you want..

Twelve, Great Britain, France, Russia, Prussia, the United States, the Maratha Confederacy, Spain, Poland-Lithuania, Sweden, The Ottoman Empire, Austria, and the United Provinces.

The minor factions don't unlock once you beat the grand campaign?!?!

So I've been sitting on my ass hitting the end turn button for 60 years to get to 1800 for nothing?! NOOOOOOOO

Here is the link to where you can find the files and how to unlock all minor factions. Have fun playing the minor factions.

i thought the same thing too but luckily i read the forums and found that you cant unlock them by completing GC damn.

US isn' playable in grand campaign to my knowledge. even if you complete RTI im relatively sure it doesn't unlock (cant see how it would)

Well you can play the 13 colonies(which is pretty much the US), and it works well. If you dont mind being called the 13 colonies, then they are pretty awesome.

I'm not 100% sure but I think Episode IV in RTI is actually a GC game only with the US as a nation...am I right? Someone verify that for me will ya...or if no one does I will shortly.
