help!

i installed the platinum edition and it created the icons but they dont work! it just has them as pics!

any ideas how to fix this? cuz im dying to play this mod lol.

First of all it would help to work out where you should post problems. The forum has it's own 'support' area and I've moved the post there. Please have a look around the forum for it's structure before posting.

You also need to have a read of your post to see if there is anything in there that would help someone fix your problem.

What operating system are you running?
If you are using Vista have you switched off UAC and where did you install the game?

What happens when you click on the shortcut?

What version of RTW are you using?
Does RTW run OK on your system?

yes i am running windows vista 32 bit home edition and UAC is turned off.

RTW is on version 1.5 and i can run the game at max settings.

when i click the RTRPE icon it's converts it into a picture for windows media gallery which leaves me confused.

EDIT: i installed it here, C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War

hmm well the exe is in my e drive which the cd is in my dvd drive if i installed RTRP will it fix the problem?
well it seems that i installed it in the wrong folder i got it working and play . you can lock now.
