    Default Change the Value

In the game Greece is worth a lot of money if you conquer it. I was wondering is it possible to change the value of each settlement or faction.

Oh, gosh, that's such a big topic. I guess the easiest thing to do would be to lower the regions' base farming levels in descr_regions.txt, but it also has to do with ports, trade, mines, higher than average population levels (and thus more tax income), etc.

Changing the base farm level is very easy : Just open descr_regions .. Here you'll see all entries for all regions .. Just go to the greek ones , and on the last line of each region , you'll see a number .. lower it to give them less income

The biggest number I have found is 14. Has anyone put 20 or more?

    slaves, dogs, pigs, rome, italy
    5
    8

First of all , take a look at this :

    http://rtw.heavengames.com/rtw/mods/...ns/index.shtml

If you scroll a bit down , you should see all the info you need :

The blue bold ones (52 13 198) is the RGB-value of the region in map_regions.tga .. You don't need to change this .. The bold red one , is the triumph value level - As far is i know , this doesn't do anything .. The bold blue one is the thing that you need to change ~ this is the base farm level .. the higher it is , the more income you'll get So if you want Greece to give less income , lower this in all provinces of Greece/Macedon ..

macedon below 'Rome' is the rebel type that appears in here .. you don't have to change this ..

You are going to find that the city grows to insanely huge sizes with a base farming level of 20.

I have a question as well. Can anyone tell me how I can edit the amount of money that cities will make from trading? I want to make Carthage the richest trade city in the game world, like it should have been in the first place.

The money a settlement makes from trade depend on the resources it has, what other settlements it trades with, etc.

You can either increase the value/quantity of goods that region has or, if you want to make things more specific, you can create a hidden resource, add it to the region and give the government buildings a trade-bonus effect that will require that hidden resource.
