Empire running slow is it my pc

I have just purchased empire and it is really running badly slow, unplayable.
Is it my pc.

Heres the specs.

Windows Xp, intel(R) Core (TM) 2 CPU

NVIDIA 6300 @ 1.86ghz

2Gig Ram.

As far as i can see his not even posted his video card.
His CPU is Intel C2D 6300 1,86Ghz and then there is word Nvidia in middle of all it for some reason, but what nvidia?

lol i was confused as hell looking at that... the proc isnt the greatest but it should b able to handle the game, so its either the video card or the game hates ur computer.. im voting number 2 but we'll find out when he posts his card
