agents...
i found no fitting topic, so i had to open up a new one.
i tried a few things to make the ai turns in the campaign faster (like getting rid of a couple of beautiful yet useless scripts), but the most i get from removing merchants, spies and assassins from the game. i feel bad about the spies, but the ai makes no real use of them, and me using them seems like an exploit then- so they had to go also.
and with priests and diplomats/princesses being the only agent types the campaign runs smoothly and remarkably faster.
ai has enough money because of "support activated", and i have a much harder gaming experience.
any thoughts?

Re: agents...
due to intense screwing around with my edb, that would not be good.
i like my edb the way it is, but i do not think that others will like it.
so the easiest way to reproduce what i did would be simply deleting all agent recruitment in the edb, but i know you know how to to that. and it's save-game compatible. you just have to wait for all agents to die.
i start to get annoyed by the imams in my territory, cause i cannot slit their guts anymore...
this was thought as a hint for people who have trouble running the later game, or who simply hate to wait for ages in the ai turns. i know that my approach saves a whole lot of time (and cigarettes/coffee).
the downside is that my girl is pissed off, because with agent-recruitment on i had the time to get up and maybe do the laundry between the turns, and now it isn't even worth to get up.
cheers!
