Coordination with allies?

One reason why alliances became more and more useful is the coordination between the allies in this era.

In ETW, the alliances features is quite useless when you found out that those allies that join you in a war would hardly make any effort to attack an enemy capital with you.

So, perhaps we can see a coordination with allies feature in the campaign map for the ETW expansion?

It would be nice to have that back. I've had at least two occasions in each campaign I've played so far where I've though

"Damn I wish I could just pay this moron to attack so and so already"

Only time I've got help from my ally, was when I had war with Russia (as Sweden). I had conquered enough land for the United Provinces to march through them all the way to Russia. They sent 2 stacks, and didn't backstab me Poor thing was, that by the time they got to Moscow, Russia had only a couple of cities left... I think I might leave the last one for those poor guys.

Well, I've had multiple alliances anyways so getting help once for 15 wars isn't too good. Attack button, please. Which we'll get probably with expansion pack, if we get it.

I was France and spain and me were at war with britan spain wanted to invade england just pooling all their troops in normandy about 2 stacks and even had ships in the channel but for some reason could not get them in the ships??? kind of useless

youd think they could have implemented a jihad/crusade style target designation for alliances.

as it is i usually dont even bother asking allies to join wars because then that way they wont decline and break alliances/stay at war with them for the rest of the campaign but our theoretical combined might deters other dow against me

Agreed, I almost never ask my allies to join wars now because there's no point. They are also more likely to help out if they were already at war instead of being dragged into one.

Only one time an alliance help me.

I am Spain and the game is just starting off and Morocco declare war on me, France actually send a full stack down to Gibraltar region to help defend. Unfortunately when I go on the offensive they do not move too and so they never actually fought anything, they just stood next to Gibraltar for a few turns then when I killed Morocco they sent the full stack back to Paris.

Because all our post are all over the place? What makes you think CA got so much time to try the entire forum that has several hundred of thousands of post?

We need to compile a list of features we want to have and keep updating that list.
