Dont quite know if this belongs here but ill shoot.

well a couple days ago i was watching on the news that Korea is shooting a "rocket" into space. eh nothing sounds bad there right? wrong.

The usa and japan belive that it is a nuclear missle..... and they are threataning to shoot it down. Korea then said they would take milatary actions (What they ment as that is unknown) and also Koreas close comunist allies china are also geting into this.

Now there are rumours this could triger world war III?

i would just like to here your thoughts and sorry if this is a bit off but this is what I rememberd.

yea ive seen the talk of this. didnt think it was to be shot into space though :/ just thought it was some random ballistic missile test that america were thinking of shooting down to practise their stuff on real targets.

and then korea did the whole threatening thing.... so nothing will come of it because nobody wants to screw around with the status quo. cant really see what NK could do about it though, its well known these days they arent particularly tough, despite their official military roster and notorious cyber warfare unit.

NK's put a lot of effort into developing a cyber warfare capability. of course its not going to be massively powerful when its NK we're talking about..they have however made several cyber attacks upon networks across the world.

Farnan, I know I showed you the N. Korean internet before. It had nothing to do with porn, it had to do with well sourced and researched articles about the officially declared invincibility of the North Korean Army.

They literally have one website. Of course it's run by the government and was full of hillarious articles, the one that sticks out in my mind was titled "The People's Army is now internationally considered to be invincible" or something to that effect.

NK is the one place on the planet that defies all logic, reason, and conventional thought. We can't even figure out what the common person their actually thinks about the world. I have serious doubts that all North Koreans even comprehend how much of a world there is outside of NK. It is really quite saddening.

As far as any potential war I have almost no doubt that China would not be on the side of NK. I don't know if war would be something that would happen since KJI is apparently just about dead (of course thats what they keep saying about Castro too.). I wonder if NK has room for two people who lead the country even though their dead?

I don't think China will fight against us for two reasons.

1.) The Korean War, we ****ing slaughtered them. Just look at the battle of the Chosen Reservoir. It would be even worse for them now.

2.) Our economies are far too tied into each others.
