Hi guys, i was thinking (even after reading the top thread DO NOT START A MOD jajaja) that empire total war provides a exelent set for modding even further in time, i was thinking in a american civil war mod, even as i am soth america a mod relating to the 1879 1883 war of the pacific, i have a lot of material regarding weapons and uniforms from that era but absolutly not a clue about modding etw, so i,ll gladly join some folks who taking one step at the time have some ability in any area to start working in a etw enhancement, i hope into the fture, because ive seen a lot of interest in modding to the 1500 1600 period, but none into late 19 century.
Even if formations behave diferently there s no much difference in the manner with warefare was fought, the skirmisher ability of some units seem the correct way that a late 19 century troop moves, the civil war trops carried a une shot rifle that was loaded in a diferent way and the 1880 trops carried also a single shot rifle but this time charged as a single bullet, cavalry charges, cannons, boats , nothing changed much exept for the ironclad with was heavly present in both conflics i mentioned before.
