end turn CTD

I'm sort of overwhelmed by the amount of different info about this end of AI turn CTD in the campaign, its just to know: Is there actually any solution to stopping this bug? Or do I have to put campaigns off for now until another patch comes along?

EDIT: Also, how can I play offline? Steam tries to update if the router is off, so I cant launch the game at all when not connected.. I thought that you only needed to be online for the installation....?

you may benefit from my post 'CTD AAR'; if not, at least I tried.

as to playing offline---open Steam and click on drop-down File menu and select 'go offline'--then do as it says.
