Well, this kind of reminds me of what happened back in 2005/2006 in my hometown, but a little more tame, no riots or arson.

However, how do you feel about this? I mean people protesting the Nazis for promoting violence and intolerance and then tossing placards and bottles at them? Yelling at the police for protecting the marchers?

Seems to me that some liberal arts students, who are so open-minded, got a tad blinded by their own personal closed-mindedness and intolerance...

Anti Nazi's are a violent bunch, I try my best to stay away from them- a little too twitchy and prone to attempting to kill you, if you ask me. Nazi's on the other hand? Disagreeable politically, but nice chaps.

Ever talked to a Nazi? The Entire movement has become extremely cordial after David Duke led the way. I mean, he didn't just put the KKK in suits and a tie, he forced every little Nazi/White supremacist group to change their image. Obviously theres a still a few fools carrying guns around and seig heiling, but they are exceptions to the rule.

Actually no. It may be still a relatively uncommon phenonenom in North America, but they do not just attack evil Nazis (who happen to be human like you and me and therefore also have the right to be unharmed). In Germany such riots are mostly accompagnied by massive attacks on police officers, the burning of cars and the pillaging of evil capitalist chain franchises like aldi (supermarket) and Mc Donalds. Our beloved new red SA (yes its the same methods the Nazis used) even takes itself the freedom to ask you for your ID when you are near to such a demonstration. Mostly they also combine their hatred on nazis (or people the declare to be nazis) with anti-capitalist inspired anti-semitism.

I don' know how nazis do it in Canada, but I think they might mistake you for a jew, so I'd be somewhat careful.

Whether you agree or disagree with the beliefs of the neo-nazi march, do not try and say they do not have the right to peacefully march. In doing so, why can they not claim you dont have the right to march for anything else. It turns into a matter of opinion, although a bit onesided.

It is similar to the whole I disagree with what you say but will fight to the death for your right to say it type of thing.

If they are not peaceful, however, bring out the water hoses. It is ironic though, that of the neo-nazis and the anti-nazis, the anti-nazis were the violent ones.
