Unexplained Campaign Map Freeze
Hi Folks.
Since the "The Long Road" forum is quite empty I decided to look for help in here. I hope that's alright.
My problem is:
The Long Road is freezing randomly on campaign map. This didn't happen to other mods. Sometimes when clicking on a faction member, sometimes when someone is moving and sometimes during the end of a round. The Vanilla Medieval 2 works. It's no CTD. The computer is freezing.
It's impossible to get to the desktop. Just the "reset" button helps.
Here are my system specs:
Windows XP SP 2
AMD Athlon 64 2.2 GHZ (3500+)
2048 MB Ram
Nvidia GeForce 7600 (GS) 256 MB
TLR 2.0
German Version of Medieval 2: Total War 1.3
German Version of Medieval 2: Total War Kingdoms 1.5
The game is NOT unpacked.
All options on graphics are set to LOW. Including shader v1 and stuff since I don't care about graphics and play Auto Resolve anyway.
Stainless Steel is running without any CTDs.
Das Heilige Römische Reich is running without any CTDs.
The only thing I see is that these are Kingdoms Mods, not Medieval 2.
I would appreciate if someone has any idea of fixing this.

Re: Unexplained Campaign Map Freeze
I haven't tried TLR since 1.0 beta. If others work and not this one, then you need to take your questions and problems to them. Another person has taken up working on it and has a far better idea of what's wrong than I do.

Re: Unexplained Campaign Map Freeze
Hey mate.
Thanks for your reply.
I was just thinking that a "computer freeze" isn't much a mod issue. But as it seems it is one.
So I thought maybe you could just have any idea bout this.
Just updated to current nvidia drivers - no help.
If someone has ANY idea for this feel free to post
Thanks,
Fori
