    Sad but true.
A good drum solo doesn't just involve speed but also technique which this guy doesn't have.
He is just playing a simple beat fast, pretty much all drummers can do that.
Wanna hear some good drum solos
    Check out these

Thats why I said simple rudements but still good. I play the drums and Im sure I can play that, but that doesnt mean it sounds bad. Playing a paradidle is easy, but once played fast it sounds good.

    The link is broken.
But if you want both, fast and complicated, go for the likes of Richard Christy or Gene Hoglan. That's in metal.
Neil Peart, Danny Carey, Mike Portnoy and, of course, Terry Bozzio in prog.
And don't forget about Dennis Chambers, aka "none else can play more complex on a mini-set".

I was being sarcastic. He's no legend but the guys got raw talent.

Then again he's probably been sitting on his ass, day after day, doing that for years. An actual retard with bottles would get good after a while.

Bill Ward is a really underrated drummer. My favs though are Joey Baron (posted a solo of his above), Can's Jaki Liebezeit and The Mahavishnu Orchestra's Billy Cobham.

Billy Cobham's Spectrum is a must for everyone who learns or even think of learning drums.
