Default Trading Ports and Armored Citizens

Hey all, I've now gone through a game both as Sweden and Prussia and a few things have come up:

What determines how many armed citizanry you get? Whenever I attack a fortress they get like 15 units but I only get around 5-6.

Also, as Sweden I control the baltic area and each coastline. One settlement I captured has a trading port, but nothing goes to there. It still says that my ports are at full capacity, is that merely because the port of Stockholm is where everything comes in?

and yes I meant to type armed citizens not armored lol

The pleasure about a dream is that it's a fantasy. If it ever came real then it wasn't a dream.

The grey dots next to your city represents the amount of armed (NOT ARMORED!! ) citizens you will get. Armed citizens come in groups of 60.
Most cities only spawn 2-6 of 'm but large capital cities (I.e. Paris) seem to spawn about 10-12 armed citizens
E:TW's natives have developed a new "Ballistic Automatic Detection And Seeking System" to utterly annihilate any European that sets foot on their soil... That's BADASS for short!

Well for a trade port to provide you with trade routes it has to be land bound to your home country in some way, so if you hold brandenburg, you need to hold denmark + hannover or courland + east and west prussia for the trade port to work. atleast thats my experience so far.

For a trade port to be functional it either needs to be in your national capital region or road-linked to same.
