I can't seem to escape this CTD. Happens like clockwork on the turn of the Franks or Huns in the summer of 365 AD.
Please help; I want to make my dream of a Vandal-ruled Britain come true...

Game of the Fates
Mod of the week on hold -- I've played nearly every RTW mod out there.
BOYCOTT THE USE OF SMILEYS!(Okay, just once)
Antiochos VII...last true scion of the Seleucid dynasty...rest in peace, son of Hellas.
I've returned--please forgive my long absence.
Hi Mr Cursed.
I assume that yopu have included the 2.01a patch and deleted the quotes files.
If so, then the CTD may be caused by the "evil" twins clones that the AI produces for characters that are left unattached. So when the character dies it causes a fatal CTD. There is no way around it I'm afraid.
It has been fixed thought for IJV3.0.
Cheers
Damn...I rather liked my Vandal file.
Will it always happen in the Summer of 365AD?

In that campaign it proberbly will. With most CTD's you can usually get around them by doing something different on the campaign map, but a fatal CTD means you cannot.
You could try a new campaign with the Vandals and see how you go, or wait for IJV3.0 BETA which will be released very shortly
Cheers
Well, I guess I'll just go rampaging with some other barbarian faction. Quadi, HOOOOO!!!!
