Loading game save = CTD?

its 1732, ive got about 30 regions, earning bucket loads of money and maintaining 5 armies

anyway, i click to load my save and it CTD shortly after

this is a pain in the arse

is there anything i can do?

I'm having a similar problem. It hasnt had any problems in the past, but now all the sudden when I go to load my GC it crashes when it starts to load. I messed around with Fallout 3 just before trying to load this and fallout 3 does the exact same thing, try to load the game and it crashes. I'm really pissed...

Common problem with ETW I'm afraid (no solution at this time) - Hopefully they will fix it along with many other issues soon.

ok. loaded up the autosave and redid my turn, so not much loss

did make a new save though
