This beggars belief
I have practically given up on this game as the performance and other things for me is ridiculous, yes there are many that can play this game without any issues whatsoever, but they are lucky to say the least.
What I cannot understand is that when CA held those open days or whatever they called them, where some of the members here and elsewhere went to play the game, from what I read on some of their reviews the game was amazing and played extremely well, really??? what on earth were the Computers they were using then? if they were honest reviews then why on earth is the game so infested with problems? I'm not intending to call people liars, as that is not my intention, but come on here, this is not what I was expecting when I bought the game, my PC can handle games like this no problem, and others that are equally as demanding run without problems, so this is seriously bad.
It beggars belief that this game ever got released like this, and no amount of apologies makes an ounce of difference, I wanted a game that would at least allow me to go through a GC without a ctd, and many other factors, normally for me if a game was jerky on a map with scrolling around, an older driver set would have fixed it, but I have tried loads of different sets and none make much of a difference, so as to make the game more appealing and a pleasure to play.
Yes this has all been said a thousand times and I make no bones about saying it again, I am disgusted, and had I known this before my order I would have got something else and steered well clear of Empire, as things are now, I am not playing it, have no interest in it and will be playing Med 2 and awaiting the "European Wars 2" mod with great anticipation.
