Bug - Saxony still listed as Protectorate of a destroyed Poland

I destroyed Poland a few turns ago, and then later declared war on Saxony. Oddly, Saxony was still listed as a Protectorate of Poland even though Poland was erradicated.






If you've seen my thread about the Undead Polish army, this makes it all the more comical. Clearly Poland just keeps on living one way or another.

It wasn't about the difficulty, but rather to help list another bug.

Furthermore, for anyone who had seen the other bug I posted about the polish undead army destroying 50% of my army made it more comical when I next ran into this bug.

Protectorates are bugged to hell and back. I'm currently compiling a list of their problems, this one's definitely getting in.

The Saxons still pledge loyalty to poland whenever she may return. They are hoping the polish revolt from you and lead a rebellious army to victory in reestablishing her sovereignty.

Good thing I saw this. I had the exact same Bug. I'm playing as Sweden and I went to make Hannover and Saxony my Protectorates. I had already wiped out the Polish, Prussians, and Mughals. I go to make Hannover my Protectorate. They accept. I go into diplomatic relations with Saxony and see the same thing you saw: Saxony is still a Protectorate of Poland. We should see if this happens with the rest of the Protectorates. I'll start an Austria campaign and focus only on the Ottomans to see if the Barbary States are still labeled Protectorates. Unless someone else has run into the problem?
