Building exclusive faction buildings on the basis of region ownership
I love that the main factions get exclusive buildings. They really liven up the map. However, it really bothers me that I can capture, say, Berlin and the Brandenburg gate isn't there. If it's already built, that's nice--but I can never build it myself.
Obviously being able to build too many special buildings is game-breaking, and I'd want to reduce the benefits they give. However, from a purely visual perspective, it would be spectacular.
Currently, exclusive buildings are controlled in two ways:
- building_faction_variants restricts these buildings to the proper faction. This restriction can easily be removed.
- building_levels contains conditions for building these; namely: "inFactionCapital()". It also makes them unique, but that's good.
Simply removing the faction restrictions would mean all these buildings could be built in any faction capital. That's bad.
What I'd want to do instead is make, say, the British Museum buildable by *anyone* as long as they control London, and it must be buildable only *in* London.
Is there any way to do this?

It's the highest level army building. After you build the Army Staff College or whatnot in Berlin, the Brandenburg gate is buildable.
You can see it in Berlin's building browser.

Judging by the other entries in building_levels this might have to wait until we can edit the campaign to set hidden resources or at least find out if they already exist. For example replace infactioncapital with hasregionresource(res_london). It's the same method used for AOR in the other TW games.
