Editing turns

Is there anyway to make the turn waiting shorter, so when you press 'end turn' it takes 5 seconds instead of having to wait a minute? I figure at could get a lot more done then waiting and watching other faction's flags wave by....Thanks. Perhaps there is a mod? I never have seen any body asking for anything like this for Empires or any other Total War game, so I thought Id give it a go.

Pressing space-bar helps a bit, as usual. However, on the most part, unless we pare back the factions, long waiting turns are the thingy of the day. There are twice as many factions as in M2TW, so long waiting times are to be expected.

So it cant be modded? Ill try space bar, never thought of that.
