Default Dancing on the grave? :(

MILLBROOK — Members of the Topeka, Kan.-based baptist church said they are coming to Millbrook Sunday to protest Natasha Richardson's funeral.

On it's Web site, Westboro Baptist Church said it plans to protest the funeral because Richardson supported research for a cure for AIDS. The small Kansas church has protested schools, colleges, churches, funerals and other venues

On Friday, local police said they are preparing for traffic and crowds Sunday, based on reports Richardson will be buried in a private ceremony near the family's Town of Washington home.

State police 1st Sgt. Eddie Moore of Troop K said they have not been officially requested to provide security Sunday. However, based on published reports of plans for a funeral, the state police are making plans to deal with traffic and other concerns.

Well...it is the ing WBC...but wanting to protest the funeral of someone who wanted to see an end to AIDS? The WBC has just sunk lower - but wait, one cannot sink any further when one is already at the ing bottom of the ocean floor.

The WBC ought to be burnt at the stake, the whole damned lot of them

PS. If Fred Phelps is an IRL troll...then surely we can play the part of the troll-slayers?

A Fred Phelps Unit in MED 2: TW? That would be interesting to drop with a Catapult or a Great Bombard.

Actually yes we do but these guys have some very good lawyers so they're pretty much untouchable.
    I'm surprised they still have the money to afford good lawyers after that massive Court Loss with the father of one of those fallen soldiers;
They were fined Millions for defamation?

yeah..I didn't know of them either; till i read this article.

I support the freedom of speech, but this is silly. But then again; on second thoughts i wish they go ahead with this protests, so the media can show the show world how idiotic they are.

I think that every time they make such a silly protest; they are scoring an own goal

Well, the good news is that they didn't come over here.

They wanted to disturb the burial of the people who died in an airplane crash. The Turks wouldn't accept that.

    from the second link

God Hates The Netherlands.Let’s make this crystal clear: The Netherlands is the filthiest country in the world, bar none. They have given this country wholly to the Sodomites in a hand basket. Psalm 63:9 - But those that seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth. Ezekiel 31:18- To whom art thou thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? yet shalt thou be brought down with the trees of Eden unto the nether parts of the earth.

Yes, to them AIDS is a "fag illness" and to try to cure it is a sin. Makes me sick.

They are crazy and they pretty much universally hate, right wing, left wing, gay people, soldiers, catholic churches/priest...its all the same to them. They are the biggest collection of idiots in this country (next to Berkeley) and the world would be a far better place without them.

comparing those at Berkeley with these is preposterous. There are some fanatical left wingers at Berkeley but that's but a minuscule part of the population.

the rest are overwhelmingly liberals in a pacifist way .
to say that a university community that gave America a lot of its scientific capital/advances is pretty much the same as a collection of crazies is insulting.

I hope they all die in a fire....started by me.

seriously, anytime there is a high profile death, or troops are coming home to be buried, these human filth come to protest the burial ceremony with signs like " gun hates the troops" or "your son is going to hell".

freedom of speech and freedom of "religion" might be one thing, but my freedom to slam a crowbar in your face is something I will exercise if you ever come to one of my funerals.

Protesting funerals is the epitomy of disrespect. It should not be allowed.

What the hell do they think they're protesting? Do they think they just have a right to complain about what a person did in life, as if they have some kind of position to judge what everyone does?
