Would really like to see Wellington, Napoleon and the Battle of Waterloo map with La Haye Saint and Château d'Hougoumont

Its all there, just the maps and Generals need to be added

Would pre-order it now if it was coming

Multi-player is simply great and there are lots of good players using very intelligent tactics coupled with sensational graphics, watching some replays is like watching a film

Waterloo would be nice if they could accurately represent the battle. I'm going to feel rather underwhelmed there or marching into Russia with my 1000 man army.

I think they first need to fix the game, make a better AI. Then they can start making it, and before the releas let it be tested BY THE COMMUNITY and then they can release. But then again against the time that happens my dog is having wings and can fly to the moon with a magic unicorn on its back.

They should release a campaign like Kingdoms with the American Civil War, Napoleonic wars, War of 1812 and The Crimean War

If they release an expansion that is like Kingdoms, then I think it should have Napoleonic Wars, the various colonial wars in North America or War of 1812, a campaign with a large influence on naval battles/strategy, and the Great Northern War. I think the American Civil War is a tad too far out of the timeframe, but because CA will most likely pander to an American consumer, the Civil War will probably be included.

I hate the way CA does expansions.

I play TW for the Grand Strategy.....and then the expansions come out which are localized campaigns.

Just add more stuff to the Grand Campaign. Tweak things a bit and give me another hundred years. (would also make America playable by giving an option of "Early, Middle, Late" starts.)

Why is that outside of the timeframe?! Empire was 100 years. Short for a TW game. Figure the next expansion would go 1800-1900, making it now "too far out" but rather "in the middle".

Plus if the expansion was set in the 19th century and didn't have the Civil War, i'm just flat out not buying it.

The Civil War is actually WAY out of the time frame. It was the first modern war in history and a preview of World War I, 50 years beforehand.

With the prevalence of Rifled Muskets and the appearance of powerful weapons like Repeating Rifles and Gatling Guns, the Civil War was a complete bloodbath. It also saw the first uses of the kind of Trench warfare that would become famous on the Western Front of World War I.

The Civil War or World War I would be horrible subjects for a Total War game, because tactics on the battlefield hadn't caught up to advances in technology.

Think about it - play out the Civil War just like you would play Empire Total War. The army on offensive would have more than half its men slaughtered the moment they got in range of the defending force. If two armies lined up in Napoleonic style, half of the men on each side would die in the first volley. Just try a bayonet charge - your entire line would be dead before they touched the opposite line.

Why does an expansion have to be tied to a tight time frame?
Kingdoms went from the crusades to New Spain, and was better for the variation it inherently gave.

Definetely!! There is no other way, I think CA planned it before releasing this unfinished product (hope will be fixed soon )
