In the britannia campaign, i wanted to change the name of the scottish king, i went through the files and changed his name.
When i started kingdoms again, his name became blank(nameless)
Does anyone know how to fix this?

The name has to exist in /text/names.txt. After you add it there, delete names.strings.bin and allow the game to regenerate it.
