Hard drive problems!!! need help

Hey,
i have recently bought Medieval 2 Total war GOLD and are having some problems. On my C drive i have less than 5GB space, but when i read the back of the game, it said that you need upwards of 10 GB. I thought that this may be a problem but then i realised that i have a lot of space on my D drive. I then started to install the game but it wont let me change my directory from C to D. I then realised that you could untick the components that you don't want but i still don't have enough space, and like i said before, i can't change the directory. Please reply if you have any idea what i can do to fix this problem. thnx

The game makers do it this way for their own reasons.
You can try to run the setup.exe rather than autorun and see if it will let you. If that doesn't work, you'll have to figure out how to get room on c: including enlarging the partition or moving some programs or give up installing. Size of programs nowadays 5gigs is small.
